Planalto Farm is a flat oasis nestled in the rugged heart of Southern Minas. The farm encompasses 910 hectares of land at altitudes ranging from 1,097 to 1,188 meters above sea level.
Nearly 300 hectares of coffee at Planalto Farm are fully mechanized, covering every aspect from planting to harvesting. The cultivated coffee varieties include Mundo Novo, Catuaí Red, and Yellow Catuaí. The farm’s coffee production exceeds the national average, with an annual production average of 14,000 bags.
Farm Planalto boasts one of the most advanced processing facilities in the country for the preparation of high-quality coffee beans destined for export.
Exceptional Coffees
The coffees from Farm Planalto exhibit the typical characteristics of coffee from the South of Minas and other regions. Planalto Natural offers a remarkable body, sweetness, and excellent aroma, coupled with moderate acidity. Planalto Pulped Cherry, on the other hand, is known for its balanced profile. It shares the same body and aroma characteristics as the natural variety but features a naturally sweet flavor with acidity akin to the high-altitude regions of Southern Minas.

Management and Sustainability
Farm Planalto encompasses 141 hectares of pristine native forest, ensuring the preservation of water resources and vegetation. We take great care in maintaining this natural environment. Our commitment to sustainability extends to our coffee processing methods, where we prioritize water conservation through recycling and treatment. Additionally, we return coffee husks to the plantation, utilizing them as a valuable source of nutrients.
